A downloadable game for Windows

Hey everyone,

Over the past year or so, I studied for a brutal examination that offered little to no interactive experience. Most of the content was either redundant (same information regurgitated) or boring (just not fun to study). I wanted to make an educational platform that was also entertaining.

Thus, the idea became the NCLEX Content Game. Right now it's in BETA development and I do plan on adding more features and eventually putting this bad boy on Steam where everyone can play and enjoy it (hopefully soon and for no profit/free). The assets I used are known to be free and public; the ones that do not allow me to commercially license, I will replace with either my own images or some other free distributive source. My goal is to provide free resources so in the future, I don't plan on making anything for profit. I want more nurses and I want this damn nursing shortage to be over with.

As of now, I do not have licensing on the program file so when you do download it, it will trigger your antivirus software and/or windows defender (it's written in Python). Rest assured, there are no viruses in this file.

I tried my best to prove it using Virus Total but some of their scanners got it flagged (it's notorious for unlicensed Python programs to get flagged -- it gives a false positive):

For some reason, this link has been quarantined as well my GitHub link too despite the fact that they both have the official links.

My theory is, it's because I created this account not too long ago and no one from itch.io end has verified or checked my page yet. Now, I have been trying to get someone to approve my links and download (in the process). But for full transparency, at the moment, you can see the link for yourself by clicking on the "I understand the risks, let me access anyways."

Or, if you'd like to manually do it yourself, you're more than welcome to by visiting www.virustotal.com and entering this into the Virus Total search bar (my unique scanned executable program id code):

I have my GitHub page linked to show you the EXACT skeletal code of the program.

Again, I am not sure why it says it's quarantined but you're more than welcome to just copy and paste this link onto your web browser URL bar space.

As you can see, it's the official github.com URL:

Unfortunately due to no license, it will trigger your Windows Defender. However, there are absolutely no viruses and most of the virus scan can be proven with the Virus Total... Only 5/71 got flagged and that's because of the unlicensed product.

So this is from my end. I just freshly downloaded the .exe file onto my computer and when I try to run it... it gives me this option:

You want to click the "More info" and you'll be redirected here:

As you can see I do not have a license. "Publisher: Unknown publisher" so naturally it will get flagged. Remember, please feel free to check out the GitHub as well as the Virus Total Scan prior to downloading the executable file.

Once you have ran everything... congratulations! You can now start playing and learning:
